The 630mm EC axial fan is primarily used in limited spaces like subway projects and tunnels. It produces a significant amount of airflow due to its huge 630 mm diameter and 380 VAC power. High-flow axial fans are necessary for ventilation in spaces like tunnels. A single fan may handle both supply air and smoke exhaust, saving a substantial amount of installation area and money for tunnel construction or subway station ventilation. For a fan this size to run at low noise levels is no easy task. 40–60 dB is suitable for a quiet office or a normal discussion. The smallest sounds that humans can hear, such as breathing, lie between 0 and 20 dB. However, in real testing, our huge axial fan measures 69 dB. Almost no noise is perceptible at ground level when fitted in a subway ventilation shaft.
Cold-rolled steel plate, which is lightweight, suitably robust, and—most importantly—corrosion-resistant, is used to make the impeller. Regular fans are prone to rusting with time, and mining and underground environments are wet and dusty. It is true that high airflow and low noise levels are necessary in tight spaces like mines, tunnels, and underground transit systems. We may additionally modify the unit to satisfy project-specific requirements for the EC fan, such as alternative installation dimensions or control techniques.
